Attorney Profiles

Mr. Scott concentrates his practice in the area of Ohio Workers' Compensation Law.  In the past several years, he has appeared at hundreds of workers' compensation hearings at the Industrial Commission of Ohio offices in Dayton, Springfield, Cincinnati, Hamilton, Lima and Columbus.  Mr. Scott's practice includes extensive experience in litigation of workers' compensation cases in common pleas courts, as well as in courts of appeal (including mandamus actions), and the Supreme Court of Ohio.  His practice also consists of representing claimants in social security disability and supplemental security income cases and personal injury claims.

In 1998, Mr. Scott became one of the first attorneys in Ohio to become certified as a specialist in workers' compensation law by the Ohio State Bar Association Workers' Compensation Law Specialty Board.  He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Dayton Bar Association, and the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers.
