Altick & Corwin sadly announces the loss of our friend and partner, Robert (Nick) Farquhar, who lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.

Nick was a consummate professional and highly respected practitioner. As a shareholder in Altick & Corwin, Nick epitomized the ideals of the legal profession.

    Congratulations to Altick & Corwin Co., L.P.A. for being named as having five of Ohios Super Lawyers practicing with the firm.  Robert Nick Farquhar, Marshall D. Ruchman, and Donald K. Scott and Peter R. Certo, Jr. and Matthew D. Stokely ,  were recently selected from over 33,000 eligible Ohio attorneys for the honor. Point totals were assigned to each eligible attorney, voted on by peer attorneys, in various categories. Once points were tallied, the list of 100 Ohio Super Lawyers was formed. According to Ohio Super Lawyers 2007, attorneys on this list are considered to be in the top 5% of all attorneys in the State of Ohio. Congratulations to Altick & Corwins five deserving attorneys for their dedication to their practice and commitment to the Miami Valley.
