Family killed in wrong-way crash near Dayton

Most families in the Dayton area use their car to get around town. Whether it’s to visit friends, go to work or the grocery store, or drive kids to activities, there are a million reasons why we are out driving each day. Most of the time we are able to safely reach our destination, but occasionally a motor vehicle accident occurs. A tragic car accident recently occurred near Dayton.

Recently, three Mason residents were killed in a crash near Dayton. A 10-year-old girl and her parents were killed on I-75 in a wrong-way crash between South Dixie Drive and Dryden Road in Moraine. Authorities are trying to figure out which driver wound up going the wrong way on the freeway.

No one expects their loved one will be killed in a car crash. This is a tragedy that is beyond comprehension for almost everyone. If a family believes their loved one was seriously injured or killed due to no fault of their own, they may want to explore their legal options. An attorney understands the heartbreak a family is going through, along with the questions they may have as to why this accident occurred. An attorney can visit the accident scene and interview witnesses and review police reports to determine who is at fault. Compensation may be available for funeral expenses, pain and suffering, medical expenses and other damages.

The tragic loss of life that occurs when a negligent driver makes a mistake is beyond comprehension. Families have the legal right to hold these negligent drivers accountable for their mistake.
